when i was young we had a big old tree at our el monte house that we stung with ropes and then pretended that we were tarzan and jane, grand ma ona would come out and screech at us to come down, we of course were deaf to that command!
i can see that tree now and remember the thrill of the first swing that i took.

Ted your web site is great. The pic
of Ona jumping reminds me of a big
tree that was by El Dorado school in West Covina. We tied a rope to it and would swing thru the air with the greatest of ease.
